"The People's Liberation Army Forces, Hong Kong" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony
Hongkong Post issued today (30 June 2004) the "The People's Liberation Army Forces, Hong Kong" Special Stamps. At a ceremony held in the morning at the General Post Office, Mr. Allan CHIANG, the Postmaster General, and Major General WANG Yuren, Chief of Staff of the People's Liberation Army Forces, Hong Kong, marked the issue of the special stamps by stamping a blow-up first day cover. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. CHIANG presented to Mr. WANG and Mr. Tony HO, designer of these special stamps, framed stamps and first day covers.
