"2004 Olympic Games" Stamp Sheetlet Preview Ceremony

Hongkong Post held today (30 July 2004) the "2004 Olympic Games" Stamp Sheetlet preview ceremony at the General Post Office. The Hon. Timothy T. T. FOK, GBS, JP, President of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and Mr. Allan CHIANG, Postmaster General officiated at the ceremony by unveiling the stamps. The "2004 Olympic Games" Stamp Sheetlet is the fourth set of stamps released by Hongkong Post to commemorate the Olympic Games, and the second set of HKSAR Olympic stamps after the 1997 handover of sovereignty. Mr. Allan CHIANG also presented to The Hon. Timothy T. T. FOK, GBS, JP and Mr. Bon KWAN, designer of the stamp sheetlet, framed stamp sheetlet and first day cover.

The "2004 Olympic Games" Stamp Sheetlet will be put on sale at all post offices as from 13 August 2004, Friday. The sheetlets are now on display at 39 philatelic offices.
