"Centenary of The Birth of Deng Xiaoping" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony
Hongkong Post issued today (22 August 2004) the "Centenary of the Birth of Deng Xiaoping" Special Stamps. At a ceremony held in the morning at the General Post Office, Mr. Allan CHIANG, Postmaster General and Dr. Patrick HO, Secretary for Home Affairs, officiated the issue of these special stamps. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. CHIANG presented to Dr. Patrick HO and Mr. Michael FUNG, designer of these special stamps, framed stamps and first day covers.
