"Hong Kong Currency" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony

Hongkong Post issued today (2 September 2004) the "Hong Kong Currency" Special Stamps. At a ceremony held in the morning at the General Post Office, Mr. Allan CHIANG, Postmaster General, and Mr. YAM Chi-kwong, Joseph, Chief Executive, Hong Kong Monetary Authority, marked the issue of the special stamps by stamping a blow-up first day cover. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. CHIANG presented to Mr. YAM and Mr. Benny LAU, designer of these special stamps, framed stamps and first day covers.
