Issuing Ceremony for Special Mini-pane of Heartwarming Stamps to feature "Congratulations to the Hong Kong Team on Winning the Silver Medal in the Men's Table Tennis Doubles at the 2004 Olympic Games"
Hongkong Post issued today (7 October 2004) a special mini-pane of Heartwarming Stamps to feature "Congratulations to the Hong Kong Team on Winning the Silver Medal in the Men's Table Tennis Doubles at the 2004 Olympic Games". A ceremony was held in this morning to celebrate the event. To mark the issue of these heartwarming stamps, Mr. Allan CHIANG, Postmaster General, and Mr. Timothy FOK, President of Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, stamped a blow-up souvenir cover. Mr. KO Lai-chak and Mr. LI Ching, silver medal winners of Table Tennis Doubles in the 2004 Olympic Games, then signed on the blow-up souvenir cover. As a memento of the occasion, Mr. CHIANG presented to Mr. FOK, Mr. KO and Mr. LI, framed stamps and souvenir covers.

Mr. Allan CHIANG, Postmaster General (right), and Mr. Timothy FOK, President of Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong (left), officiated at the ceremony by stamping the blow up souvenir cover.
