No mail delivery on New Year's Day

The Postmaster General, Mr. Allan CHIANG, announced today (22 December) that there would be no mail delivery during the coming public holiday on 1 January 2005 (The first day of January). On that day, all post offices would be closed but one mail collection would be arranged from all posting boxes except those which are located on outlying islands and in remote areas.
