2009 Children Stamps Design Competition

Theme: Hong Kong in My Eyes

As Asia’s World City full of vitality, Hong Kong capitalises on its advantages to develop into an important centre for global business with emphasis on financial, trading, shipping and tourism services. To help our future generations better understand this city, Hongkong Post organises the Children Stamps Design Competition to encourage children to design their own creative piece reflecting the uniqueness of Hong Kong.

Eligibility

The Competition is open to all local primary school students (Primary One to Six) residing in Hong Kong

Awards and Prizes

• 4 Grand Prizes: A cash coupon of HK$1,800 and a trophy for each winner
• 10 Merit Prizes: A cash coupon of HK$500 and a certificate of merit for each winner
• All participants will receive a souvenir
• Winning entries may be selected as design(s) for 2010 Children Stamps

Judging Criteria

Judging criteria include:

• Theme rendition and contents
• Style and creativity
• Aesthetic appeal of colour use and design

Submission of Entries

Submission deadline: 13 March 2009
Application form can be downloaded from Hongkong Post Stamps website or photocopied for use.

Announcement of Results

The competition results will be announced in April / May 2009 via Hongkong Post Stamps Website (www.hongkongpoststamps.com). Award List will be posted in this Website. All winners will be notified individually by post. Participants who are not listed may assume that their entries are unsuccessful and will not be notified individually.
